A comprehensive and readable book detailing the history of the famous 609 (West Riding) Squadron between 1936 and 1957 written by the Squadron Intelligence Officer Frank Ziegler who served with the Squadron for 3 years. Frank Ziegler died in 1976, about 5 years after the book was originally published and this edition was revised and updated by Flt Lt Chris Goss who was the 609 Squadron historian at the time.
A very collectable squadron history complete with the signatures of three of its distinguished Commanding Officers.
