A scarce 1965 First Day Cover commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain,
originally signed by the legendary Douglas Bader. The signatures of Stanford Tuck and Sir Max Aitken
were later added making this a unique cover. The two Compliments cards are tucked inside the envelope.
The 4d special Battle of Britain stamp is cancelled with a handstamped Biggin Hill postmark 13 Sep 65 and the cover is in Fine condition.
