Fine condition hardback book and Fine condition unclipped dustjacket. Clean bright & tight. This scarce volume with its striking dustjacket is in particularly good condition. It comes with a printed request for review from the publishers and a copy of the subsequent review that was provided and published.

A lovely example of this hard to find biography of ‘Bluey’ Truscott, one of the most famous Australian air aces of WW2. In Britain he flew in 452 Squadron with the legendary Paddy Finucane where his exploits led to the red-heads of Britain contributing money to buy him his ‘own’ Spitfire!  He then returned to Australia to fight the Japanese over the jungles of New Guinea where he was killed in action in 1943.

A very collectable copy of an early Ace Biography.
