Norby King trained in New Zealand and Canada and was posted to 43 Squadron at Tangmere flying Hurricanes. He later flew in Malta and North Africa. He returned to England and joined 485 (New Zealand) Squadron for the invasion of France and the advance across Europe. A great account of life as a young fighter pilot from his detailed contemporaneous diary.
